Come and stay at our on-site guest house, Epchris House in Ilfracombe and take part in our PADI Open Water Training programme.

Dive Training Active Staycations
If you fancy an active staycation, look no further than our PADI Open Water Training mini breaks running in April, May, June, September and October. It’s perfect for those looking for an active break, with time to relax in between.
Over the 2 day course you will complete all of the theory and pool training required for the PADI Open Water diving qualification and before the course starts, we will supply you with 8-10 hours of e-learning, to complete at your leisure before you arrive in Ilfracombe North Devon.
We also offer a residential option, with B n B accommodation on-site at Epchris House, our highly-rated guest house in Ilfracombe.
The course training sessions are run 10am-3pm on Tuesdays and 10am-1.30pm on Wednesdays, leaving you with plenty of free time to enjoy other North Devon attractions, such as walking on the South West Coast Path or in the nearby Exmoor National Park.
It’s also extremely easy to lose a few hours surfing/kayaking/Coasteering/paddle-boarding or just chilling at one of the award-winning beaches on North Devon’s Gold Coast peninsula.
At the end of the course you will still have 4 open water training dives to complete. You can either complete these with us at a later date, or we will sign-off your theory and pool training and you can then show this to any PADI Dive School in the world within one year and finish your diving training somewhere hot and sunny on holiday!
Courses are for 2 people and cost £275 per person.
NB: B&B accommodation is optional and not included in the cost.
