Discover Scuba Diving with lundy seals
Take your team on a PADI Discover Scuba Dive with the Grey Seals of Lundy! Suitable for a group of 8, subject to all clear/or doctor's sign-off on the PADI Medical Form.
Day 1: 3 hour swimming pool training session, at our base in Ilfracombe, including an introduction to scuba diving and the gear, how to dive safely and a swimming pool try dive and instruction from our PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer (pool try dive takes place in 2 groups of 4, one group dives whilst the other relaxes pool-side)
Day 2: All aboard for a day on the dive boat and a Seal encounter dive at Lundy! Once we get to the island, we kit you up in groups of 4 and then it’s into the water with 2 professional dive staff to experience the thrill of breathing underwater and then we head off to look for the Seals!
After your dive it’s time for a break so you can sit back, relax and enjoy watching the Seals, plethora of birdlife and dramatic coastline from the comfort of the boat. You are welcome to snorkel with the Seals whilst the other group dives.

Discover scuba pool experience
Bring together a group of employees to experience the adventure of a Discover Scuba pool dive. Receive a briefing on how to dive safely and an introduction to the scuba equipment.
Then into the pool for the group thrill of breathing underwater for the first time. A PADI Instructor will help you master key dive safety skills, then let you have fun practicing swimming underwater, with a spot of team games at the end.
Discover Scuba Pool Experience: £75 per person
(3.5 hour experience including 1 hour pool dive, subject to availability of pool, advance booking required)

Discover Scuba Try Dive With Lundy Seals Terms & Conditions
All participants can swim 25 metres unaided in water too deep to stand in
The Lundy crossing can be rough even on a good day, so this trip is not suitable for people who suffer from sea sickness
The trip may be cancelled due to dangerous sea conditions you will be offered a discover scuba in-land diving experience on the same day and refund of the cost difference
We observe the Lundy Seals Code of Conduct and expect our customers to do the same or they will need to return to the boat (this will be covered in the dive briefing)
If the dive staff are concerned about your safety in the water, we reserve the right to ask you to return to the boat at any time during the dives and you will not receive a refund
No diver will be able to take part without signing liability waivers and completing a diving medical form unless one has been completed with us in the last 12 months and nothing has changed
You are free to cancel until 35 days prior and receive a full refund. If you cancel with less than 35 days notice you will receive a partial refund, but we have to pay boat and staff costs
A 50% deposit is payable at the time of booking and the balance of payment is due 5 weeks prior to departure.
We offer 5mm full wetsuits with a 5mm shorty over the top, so a core warmth of 10mm, plus hood and gloves which is sufficient for UK waters in the summer season
